Please consider giving to Riding For A Reason; a cause that helps support local people fighting cancer while creating awareness of colon cancer and how to prevent it. There’s no better feeling than knowing you made a difference in someone’s life; that “someone” might be your neighbor, a co-worker, friend or family member. Your donations stay “local” and not only help families who need hope, love and financial support, but als they help organizations who contribute to the well-being of our cancer fighters too.
The first year of Riding For A Reason, we were thrilled to be able to help local families and organizations with $17,000 raised by 600 people riding 237 bikes. In 2016, we made the Ride an “event” and were astounded when we had over 1200 people and 652 bikes and donations rose to nearly $60,000! With full hearts, we were able to help over twenty families in need as they battled colon and other cancers. We also donated to Siteman Cancer Center and local non-profit organizations like Steelville Fire, Steelville Ambulance District, and Steelville Ministerial Alliance & Food Pantry. On behalf of everyone who we were able to help, Thank You!
Each year we hope to help even more people and organizations fight the good fight until colon cancer is eradicated! Your donations bring hope and joy to those in need.
“Riding For A Reason was founded for the sole purpose to raise awareness for colon cancer while doing what we love to do; riding ATVs and Side-by-Sides!”
