WHO WE ARE

100% of Riding for a Reason’s board members are volunteers. We are MO and IL locals who are driven to raise awareness and find a cure for a disease that took someone near and dear to each one of us too soon. We’re here for love, passion, and a mission to advocate for colon cancer screenings and awareness.

WHAT WE DO

We host events with friends and family, and share memories while raising awareness and financial support for those battling cancer. We all know someone who has been impacted by this disease, and we work diligently to continue supporting and sharing our mission to anyone we can. Each funding application that is submitted is reviewed by the Riding for a Reason board, and upon approval, sent a check, in hopes that our small donation can shine a light in a dim time.

OUR MISSION

Our mission is simple; raise awareness for colon cancer and help those battling cancer, while making memories with our friends and family. Every funding application that is submitted through our website or through a referral is read by the Riding for a Reason board, further reminding us why we’re here talking about and bringing awareness to the stigma that is colon cancer. By hosting various events throughout the year, we’ve surpassed over $1M in donations to individuals and other not for profits, and we’re already working towards the next million.
